Product Description
Plate heat exchangers for ships are mainly used in cruise ships, liquefied natural gas carriers, container ships and special ships for transporting automobiles. Some are also applied to luxury tourist cruise ships. It can be said that it is widely used.
The main working conditions of the marine plate heat exchanger on board include the cooling of the lubricating oil used by the main engine of the ship, which is called the lubricating oil cooler; There is also the cooling of the main generator, main engine and auxiliary engine on board, which is called the central cooler; Then it is seawater desalination; It is widely used in these conditions.
The structure of the plate heat exchanger for ships is the same as that of other heat exchanger equipment. On the thin sheet of corrosion-resistant metal such as stainless steel and titanium, the plate heat exchanger is flat pressed and shaped with a design ripple by a press, and it is sealed with a synthetic rubber sealing gasket around it, thus forming a “heat transfer plate”. Suspend the required number of heat transfer plates above the guide rods and overlap them between the steel plate fixed frame and the moving frame to fix them with screws. High temperature fluid medium and low temperature fluid medium are separated by a flow path formed by alternating flow between plates to exchange heat.
Its characteristics are very obvious, mainly the corrugated plates have high performance and high heat transfer efficiency; Small size, compact overall structure, no space; It can be quickly started at any time and has strong environmental adaptability; It is convenient for maintenance and disassembly. It is very convenient to clean or replace the plate gasket.
Since it is ocean-going operation, all equipment must be stable, and the plate heat exchanger for ships has stable performance, long service life and convenient installation; In addition, the use of special titanium plate can prevent the corrosion of seawater on the plate, prolong the service life, and save costs in the long run.
